Trauma Informed Care - 4 part series
This is an important topic that touches every single person in the we encounter – whether that be through personal experience with trauma, someone you care for who has experienced trauma or program participants who have endured trauma. While this comprehensive training is designed to inform your work, learners do not have to be practitioners to gain helpful information, insight and strategies to help and support trauma survivors.
Training participants will exit this training with understanding of trauma, sources of trauma and best practices for trauma informed care. Issues connected with trauma resulting from specific causes such as childhood trauma, incarceration, domestic violence and poverty will be addressed as will strategies and best practices for each type of trauma.
This is a four part series that will run on Thursdays from 2:30pm - 4:00pm. Webinar link will be provided upon registration. Dates for training are June 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th.
