Team Building for Supervisors: Reconnecting & Empowering Teams During Challenging Times
The global pandemic has presented another layer of challenges for supervisors to motivate and manage their teams. Due to the safety protocols that have emerged from the pandemic, more employees are working from home and the virtual world is their shared professional space. On a "good day" when managers suggest team building actvities they are met with eye rolls and deep sighs; however, structured team building activities have the power to be one of the most important activities that a manager can do to reconnect, empower and inspire teams to perform at their best, whether in person or remote. Learners will discover the effective features of a cohesive team, explore team dynamics, communication styles, and personality characteristics that affect team performance, willful collaboration and healthy interpersonal connections.
