Team Building for Supervisors: Reconnecting & Empowering Teams During Challenging Times
The global pandemic has presenting another layer of challenges for supervisors to motivate and manage their teams. On a “good day” when managers suggest team building, they are met with eye rolls and deep sighs; however, it has the power to be one of the most important activities that a manger can do to reconnect, empower and inspire teams to perform at their best. Now more than ever, structured team building activities are needed to build trust, mitigate conflict, encourage communication, increase collaboration and promote healthy work environments. Learners will discover the effective features of a cohesive team, explore team dynamics and personality characteristics that affect team performance, willful collaboration and healthy interpersonal connections.
