Job Development Training
The Job Development Training teaches job development as well as business development strategies to increase successful employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment. The training is build on the Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) core competencies and evidence based employment practices. The training is ideal for anyone who is a business developer, job developer, employment specialist or school personnel who is charged with building relationships with employers and finding competetive intergrated employment opportunities and/or community based work experiences. This is a five part training that runs on consecutive Thursdays - January 7th, January 14th, January 21st, January 28th and February 4th. Independent work, homework and fieldwork are part of this training.
