Getting "Hip" on HIPAA
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) is a service provider's legal and ethical responsibility. The training will explain the following why HIPAA was created and the purpose behind the law, the Privacy Rule, compliance regarding Protected Health Information (PHI) and Electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI), Information Security Regulations under the Law, and HIPAA Violation Reporting Requirements.
