Family Navigators February Meeting
This monthly group is driven by families and is for family members of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At these meetings we discuss topics, share information, and provide training in areas of expressed interest. We also bring in guest speakers who can address special interest topics or issues.
The February session will take place on Wednesday, February 18th from 5:30 - 7:00pm at the CEA.
This session will focus on Capacity Building. Person centered planning tools will be discussed as strategies in identifying community inclusion possibilities for individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Family Navigators will share knowledge with recognizing the gifts of the Head, Hands, Heart and History, as a means to brainstorming opportunities and roles in welcoming community places.
Registration is recommended as we provide a light meal.
