ReServe is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a two-day training for professionals dedicated to serving people with dementia.

This course is designed for professionals who wish to learn to train others in the philosophy, providing dementia related awareness, knowledge, and skill development in a classroom, community, or support group setting. Lori Norris, Fedcap's Director for National Center for Innovation and System Improvement, is facilitating this intensive educational forum.

COURSE OVERVIEW

1.   TWO-DAY, ONSITE CLASSROOM WORKSHOP

DAY 1: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

2.   POST-TRAINING FOLLOW-UP Q & A

 

Course material is adapted from the work of renowned dementia trainer and author, Kerry Mills, of Engaging Alzheimer’s LLC.

Certificates will be issued to all participants verifying the total 14 hours of training. This event will take place on December 10 and 11th at 123 William Street, 10th Floor. The cost of the training is $200 per person.
