Description:

One of the most important issues individuals and their families face during the state's transition from sheltered workshops to employment is the impact on benefits.  This session provides an overview and balanced perspective on how employment may effect housing, SSI/SSDI, medical, SNAP, etc.  At the completion of this session individuals will have a better understanding how to best structure their work day so that they can experience the personal satisfaction of employment and still maintain critical benefits.  

 

It will be held on Wednesday September 10th 2014 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm.
