YOU ARE INVITED TO A FORUM WITH THE US DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19th, 2015 - 4:00pm Community Provider Network of RI 110 Jefferson Blvd, Suite AWarwick, RI 02888 On April 9, 2014, the US Department of Justice and the State of RI entered into a Consent Decree with the goal of creating a system of transition, vocational, employment and day services that will support and promote community integration for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.On February 19th, representatives of the US Department of Justice will be in RI and want to meet with Rhode Islanders with intellectual disabilities and their families. Although we are only about one year into the ten-year-long Consent Decree, the Department of Justice would like to hear what people are experiencing so far:• What has YOUR experience been related to community integration and employment?• What has been YOUR experience of the implementation of the Consent Decree to date?
