Dear Friends and Colleagues –
 
Many of you have reached out to me, asking about the future of the CEA in light of the expiration of our contract with BHDDH.   All of you that reached out stressed the value and quality  of our work and  that we were filling a critical gap in Rhode Island—we very much appreciate your support and your concern.    Worry not – we are not going anywhere!  
 
Specifically,  we have had inquiries regarding whether we will be still providing our highly successful state-endorsed Job Coach Training and Certification and if we will continue to hold our Business Development Round Table, sponsor webinars, host the Peer to Peer Job Club, and develop other trainings such as our pending Business/Job Development Training.   We will absolutely continue to provide these services.   Some, such as our Business Development Round Table and Job Club will be offered free of charge.  Others such as the Job Coach, the Job/Business Development Training and some of our webinars will be offered for a  fee.  We are sensitive to the financial constraints faced by agencies and school districts and will work to offset costs where we can. 
 
The future of the CEA is bright.  While we are certainly disappointed that the contract expired, it has  been a phenomenal year for us-- and as with all businesses, we need to be nimble and flexible.  We are so pleased to have your support and look forward to continuing to make positive and productive change for you and the people you serve.
