Save the Date for RI's 2015 Statewide Self-Advocacy Meeting!
Now more than ever, people who have a developmental disability need Self-Advocacy to help empower them to make decisions and speak-up about important issues. Because of this, Advocates in Action RI has chosen the theme "My Voice, My Choice" for this year's Statewide Self-Advocacy Meeting.
Please help us spread the word, and join us on Monday, March 30th, 2015 from 7:00-9:00pm at the Crown Plaza in Warwick, RI. ** Doors will open at 6:45pm.
This year's event will be facilitated by the Leadership Series Class of 2015. This will also be the first time that many of those individuals have been on center stage. BHDDH Director Maria Montanaro is also scheduled to attend and share a few words. Please join us in supporting this year's Leadership Series and welcoming Director Montanaro!
The annual Statewide Self-Advocacy Meeting is hosted by Advocates in Action RI and made possible with support from the State of RI. Attendance is free, but space is limited to approximately 250 individuals. Registration is not required, but we would appreciate an RSVP with the approximate number of attendees who may be attending.
