In April Fedcap’s Chief Strategy Officer Lorrie Lutz,  provided a comprehensive demonstration of Get Ready!™ --Fedcap’s signature web-based work readiness tool-- to over 100 members of the New York State Rehabilitation Association.   Get Ready!™ has a demonstrated success of moving people with barriers toward work readiness and employment.  Created to ensure ease of use, this asset–based tool provides concrete, engaging and interactive exercises that explore personal attitudes and values about work, triggers that impact workplace success and actions to advance careers.   The tool also introduces the concept of Personal Branding –where participants work through a process to identify their core gifts, and then develop strategies for self-marketing—including resume development, 30 second elevator pitch, college essays--leading with those gifts.  

Get Ready!™ completion results in obtaining National Work Readiness Certification—accepted by employers as a sign of being work ready for entry level jobs.
